Bang Tao: what to know before you buy

Bang Tao is an eight-kilometre beach on the west coast and Phuket’s most expensive address: Laguna, Boat Avenue, the island’s best restaurants and its most liquid rental market. New construction sits on the second and third lines from the sea — low-rise condominiums by The Title, Bamboo Forest, THE BASE and CANVAS by Sansiri — plus the Qnity, Rise and Villa Kirara villa estates.

Prices in Bang Tao run above the island average, but rental demand is steadier too: premium villas under hotel management return up to 14% a year, condos 6–8%. Under ฿6M you can still find studios and one-bedrooms at The Title and The Zero; pool villas start around ฿29M.

Phuket airport is 25–30 minutes, Patong about 20 minutes via the new road through Kamala. Everything else is inside the area: Boat Avenue, Porto de Phuket, international schools.
